Game, set, match! Diverse creative menu and clientele...check Cool hip location...check Cranking straight ahead jazz... check Ample indoor and outdoor seating...check Dog friendly... check Great ambiance...check It checks all the boxes! But ambiance only gets you so far. You have to deliver on the breakfast basics and if you are bold enough to add a signature twist it better be good. Check! Best crab cake Benedict ever! Big plump crab cake, perfectly poached egg atop. The CBH sported green and red peppers, red onions so savory, and big hunks of Corned Beef topped with poached eggs. But the twist is the potatoes. Sliced wafer thin then griddle fried, soft fluffy crunchy savory all at once. -Aside the Benedict, and mixed into the Corn Beef... excellent standout. I'm not telling you when we arrived because we didn't have to wait... but reserving through the Yelp app certainly helps! Boo Ya Grandma! Great spot!

Got recommend to come by my sister in law. Highly recommend to come early since this place does get very busy towards 10am! They have limited out door and in door dinning area, they have a parking lot across the street so parking way earlier now! Small place with great scenery if your sitting out side! Food is delicious and worth going just to try it! Seasonal fall items are even better!

Very spacious and nice aesthetic. Staff wore masks, were very friendly, and the kitchen made everything to order. Enjoyed my meal and the servings were large (expect to take some food home).

Oh my goodness the crab cake Benedict's here are AMAZINGGG. And their potatoes were also nice and crispy and the portions were huge. Definitely enough for leftovers for another meal if you're a smaller girl like myself. Was a LITTLE bit disappointed on my omelette since it was feta inside and it was kind of falling apart when I was eating it. Still great flavours for the ingredients. but how good the Benedicts are totally make up for it and would still highly recommend coming here. Definitely jump on that Yelp waitlist in the morning to get your spot at this lovely Sunday brunch place!

Today, I was off the beat and path, looking for a nice quaint place to have a late breakfast when I stumbled upon the Doyle Street Cafe. The pancakes are outstanding. The cinnamon butter was delicious. The pomegranate mimosa was refreshing and an excellent compliment to an already great meal. I will definitely be coming back here with my family.

I had such a lovely brunch over at Doyle Street Cafe! The restaurant is tucked away in Emeryville, I never noticed it before today. I made reservations via Yelp and joined their waiting list from the comfort of my home- highly recommend doing this. The wait was about an hour. When we got there, we checked in and they were preparing our table. The outdoor and indoor areas were equally nice. We got seated at a two top outside. I had to order a mimosa but I kind of felt like it wasn't a good value. The price was pretty steep for size glass you got. That was seriously my only compliant. The food was phenomenal! The portions were great and the flavors were bold and present. This was hands down the best brunch I have had in months. Everything we ordered was to die for and cooked to perfection.

Came in this past Saturday right in time. This place is a gem. It's so cute and clean inside. Even my fiancé was impressed and said as much... The food is special. I ordered the Eggs Milan and bae ordered the Miguel Moraga omelet. I loved my dish... the pesto and Asiago cheese were wonderful with eggs. It's different but so much fun to eat. The potatoes they were served with were crispy and delicious. Everything needed just a tad touch of salt but... I'd rather do that myself instead of being served over salted food. My fiancé also ordered an orange juice mimosa and was really impressed. He said the juice tasted fresh... I wouldn't be surprised if they made it right before they served it to him. We shared a short stack of pancakes which were perfectly fluffy and delicious. The cinnamon butter that comes with it was extra special... I didn't even need to use syrup! I want to also mention that the staff here are A+. Everyone is so attentive, from the hostess to the waitstaff. We never had to look to them for refills because they were proactive. The hostess remembered when exactly we came up and made sure to address us in order, even though other guests tried to jump the line. Needless to say, we'll be back again. My fiancé doesn't even go for breakfast most of the time and he was a happy camper. If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does.

I've been twice - once before the pandemic and now! Both times I enjoyed amazing food and service. The first time I had the Doyle Street Omelette and I remember it being fluffy, soft, and flavorful. I didn't like the creole sauce as much so now I have a new favorite... the Joe's Scrambler! JOE'S SCRAMBLER - 5/5! -Potatoes were super crispy and thin (and I usually don't like potatoes but I even ate a couple pieces which is rare for me) -I usually like omelettes more but the scrambler was so tasty & soft - I would get this again 100%! -Asiago cheese and ground beef made it super pungent and flavors worked well with green onion, mushroom, and spinach PARKING FREE parking lot for customers right across so you don't even need to worry about finding parking :) Indoor and outdoor dining options available as of April 2021. Parklet is decorated with lots of succulent against the dark wood so makes for very nice photos too!

I was so impressed with the food! Needed a brunch spot to go eat by the Emeryville Marina and this was perfect! The menu was easy to access online and descriptive. Everything sounded delicious. Called in the order ahead of time and the order was ready in about 25 minutes. We did not dine in, but from the looks of it there was plenty of outside seating all distanced apart. This was also on such a quiet street of Emeryville I would definitely go dine out here and feel safe. The food was SO DELICIOUS and BURSTING WITH FLAVOR. We ordered the CA Benedict (crab cakes), pulled pork Benedict, and the Huevos Rancheros. I have never had hollandaise sauce so flavorful, seasoned well, and with a light kick of cayenne. Even though we took the food to-go, it was still so delicious served with delicious crunchy potatoes. The pulled pork was my favorite because it was so delicious and served with the most fresh pico de gallo. Safe to say, I will be back!
